What happens here?
This is a group for people who like to either write or read Harry Potter fanfiction featuring original characters the authors have made up themselves.
How to join:
Send a note to ~HP-OC-Fanfiction saying that you would like to join. You not NOT have to be a fanfiction author to be eligible to join.
Club membership is open to anyone who would like to be part of our community.What do I do here?
You can:
Post your OC fanfiction
Read, comment, and critique others' work
Post your original character's biography
Get advice on and help others with any problems you or anyone else might be having with their story Suggest story ideas Enter contests And just chat with other fans! 
Do I have to put the club icon in my journal?
Yes, please.
What's the scoop on posting character bios?
You can post character bios even if you haven't posted a story about them. I know everyone loves posting biographies of their original characters (me included!) so you can post as many original characters as you want, even if you don't do anything with them.
How do we post them?
Create a deviation or journal entry on your account and write anything about the character you want other people to know. Then note me with your character name and a link to their bio. He/She will then get posted on the character list.
What about posting fanfiction?
You can either upload your fanfiction on your own account and send the link to the club, or we can upload it here on the club account, giving you full credit and rights, of course. If you choose to upload your story on your own account, we will link to it.
What about pictures of my character(s)? Or illustrations?
Again, same as fanfiction. They can be hosted either on the club account or on your own.
What are the limitations on fanfiction?
No limits. Ratings can span anywhere between G and NC-17. Of course, though, you must present a warning for any works rated higher than R.
Contests
Contests are basically whenever Dylan has time to make them.
